Cowboys
Dressing in Fancy Western Attire does not have to be complicated. Chances are you already own items that can be worn together or with a new accessory. At a minimum, Western Wear generally incorporates a cowboy hat, a leather belt and cowboy boots. The rest is up to you. Let’s take a look at some ways you can get your cowboy on at the Sparkles and Spurs Celebration of Care.
Hat
Let’s face it, you can add a cowboy hat to just about anything you wear and elevate it to a western look. Hats come in many colors, shapes and textures. Find one that fits and own it!
Belts
A leather belt with a plain or fancy buckle can take your pants from plain to rodeo ready in a flash. Just add a minimal or large belt with a buckle in the color of your choice.
Boots
Boots are another staple of western attire. Boots can be plain, multi-colored, embossed, embroidered and more. Find a pair that are comfortable and incorporate your style and like the hat, pair them with just about anything in your closet.
Base Attire
Jeans/Pants
Nothing says western or rodeo more than a pair of jeans! Whether light blue, dark or black denim jeans are always the right thing to wear. If you are not comfortable in denim, a nice pair dress pants can be worn. Chances are you have these in your closet.
Shirts
This is another item you probably have in your wardrobe. Any plain, plaid or embellished button down shirt will do!

Put on a Blazer or Vest
So many options here! This is where you can get super creative and colorful or stay classic and understated. Something from your closet is perfectly suited to top off your base attire.
Bandana, Bolo, Tie or Bare
Now you have a choice to bandana, bolo, tie or just leave the neck area alone. This is about your comfort level and style.

We hope that these guidelines have helped you determine that Fancy Western Attire can be achieved with items in your closet and perhaps an addition or two. Here are a few more pictures of people in their idea of this style.
