JOIN THE MOVEMENT! NOV 27, 2018
Hospice East Bay is once again participating in Giving Tuesday, a one-day global event dedicated to charitable giving.
Since its founding in 2012, Giving Tuesday has inspired giving around the world, resulting in greater donations, volunteer hours and activities that bring about real change in communities. Last year, more than 100,000 organizations in 150 countries raised over $300 million, and much more was given in volunteer hours, donations of food and clothing, and other acts of kindness.
We invite you to join the movement by making a donation to Hospice East Bay. A pioneering and community-based hospice, we have served the terminally ill and their families since 1977. The support you provide allows us to implement programs and services that are important for our community but which Medicare does not cover:
Bruns House - Our 6-bed in-patient hospice house in Alamo is the only in-patient hospice facility in the nine Bay Area counties.
Caregiver Relief - We operate two funds that provide private respite care to patient families in need.
Music Therapy - Patients experience connection with their loved ones and peace from their ailments when our certified Music Therapist visits.
The Bridge - A unique bereavement program which supports the needs of children and teens experiencing grief and loss.
Thank you for to taking collective action to improve your community, giving back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes you believe in, and helping to create a better world.
